Final Paper Submission

The final version of the paper must comply with the standard IFAC conference format and must not exceed 6 two-column pages. Detailed instructions can be found here http://mcmc2006.isr.ist.utl.pt/papers/?page=cameraready

Video Submission

Authors are encouraged to submit a short digital video with the final version of their technical paper, by July 14, 2006. Digital video submission is only possible with an accepted paper. It should not exceed 6 Mb and 3 minutes and is intended to enhance the understanding of the technical papers. The collection of videos will be linked to the papers and distributed to all participants in the conference CD

Invited Sessions

The organization of Invited Sessions is strongly encouraged. The goal of an invited session is to provide a forum for focused discussions on new topics or innovative applications of established approaches. An invited session consists of four or five papers, which should be specialized in some particular theme or consists of the work carried out in the scope of a particularly relevant multi-partner project. Prospective organizers are invited to submit their proposals to the MCMC´2006 IPC chair, Prof. Pere Ridao at pere@silver.udg.es by March 31, 2006. Each invited session proposal must include the session title, a statement of importance and novelty of the topics included, a list of the contributing authors, and a brief biography of the session organizer(s), together with contact information. The papers included in an invited session must be submitted just as the regular papers are. They will undergo exactly the same review process.

Best Paper Awards

The following prizes will be awarded to selected participants of the MCMC´2006 during the closing ceremony: Best student paper and best regular paper. To qualify for a best student paper award, the candidate must be the first author of the paper and have the official status of student at the time of draft paper submission.
